NI Nonggongshang Expressway A1 Section - Dongwuyang Major Bridge
The MZ-800B dual-vibratory system successfully drove a permanent steel casing—measuring 75.85 meters in length, 4.4 meters in diameter, and weighing 298.3 tons—into the highly weathered layer until it reached the designated elevation at the Dongwu Yang Major Bridge (Ningshang Expressway A1 Section). It is reported that the construction zone of the Dongwu Yang Major Bridge is located within a natural breeding ground for yellow croaker. Since yellow croakers are highly sensitive to underwater sound and vibration, sinking the permanent steel casings posed significant challenges. Consequently, after theoretical analysis and on-site surveys, the MZ-800B dual-vibratory hydraulic vibratory hammer was ultimately selected for the pile driving operation using the vibratory driving method. This hydraulic vibratory hammer minimizes environmental impact and effectively reduces vibration disturbances to the yellow croaker to the greatest extent.
Traditional impact hammers generate typical low-frequency, high-intensity vibration signals. The frequency distribution of their noise energy overlaps with the auditory sensitivity range of yellow croakers, resulting in substantial impact on the fish over a large area. In fact, this is why fishermen in the past used the "bamboo knocking" method to catch yellow croakers.
