Hainan Lingao Jinpai Port Breakwater Vibro-Compaction Sand Piles Project

Hainan Lingao Jinpai Port Breakwater Vibro-Compaction Sand Piles Project, with a total investment of 7.41 billion yuan, comprises two components: the port engineering and the port-access expressway. The project will be constructed in three phases. The first phase, with an investment of approximately 4.401 billion yuan and a construction period of two years, plans to build two new 70,000-ton general-purpose berths with a total wharf length of 531 meters and an annual designed throughput of 7 million tons. Supporting facilities include breakwaters, revetments, storage yards, warehouses, and an approximately 11-kilometer-long port-access expressway.

The vibro-compaction sand piles have a diameter of 1 meter and can reach a maximum length of 36 meters. These piles are constructed underwater using the vibro-compaction sand pile method.
