Located off the southeast coast of Liu'ao Peninsula in Zhangpu, Fujian, this project covers an area of approximately 22.9 square kilometers. It is the first offshore wind farm in the offshore waters of Southern Fujian and the first in China to batch-apply 16-megawatt offshore wind turbines. With a total investment of nearly 6 billion yuan, the project has a designed total installed capacity of 400 megawatts. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate over 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, saving about 500,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1.36 million tons each year.
